ICC Information Product Development

09 January 2006

As part of our continuing commitment to providing you the customer with the best possible product, ICC information have undertaken a 2 year development programme, resulting in a significant enhancement to our already advanced scoring model systems.

Developed by ICC Information in conjunction with Professor Nicholas Wilson, a recognised authority in the dustry, who currently holds the chair in Credit Management at Leeds University and is director of the Credit Management Research Centre.

ICC Information is confident that with these enhancements it will be offering more scores and credit limits on Irish and UK companies and businesses via our online products, than any other agency.

Main features:

· Scoring criteria have had additional enhancements to provide increased accuracy in the analysis of risk.

· All Irish and UK companies will be assessed for Scoring and Credit Limit– including new companies, which have not yet filed, and companies who are late filing. Please note this may effect Credit Scores and Credit Limits)

· New criteria will be used in scoring non-limited NI and UK companies including socio-economic, demographic and industrial weighting.

· A highly predictive new model will be used to score the extensive UK unincorporated database, with Northern Ireland being scored for the first time.

· A consistent scoring range of 1 – 100 has been assigned to limited and non-limited companies.

· The commentary on why and how a business has been scored has been expanded for limited companies and for the first time is now provided for all non-limited businesses.

**Important Note**

These new changes will also result in a change of the score bands, from the previous defaults. Any changes in the tailored guide will be overwritten resulting in new default settings as below;

The new default band system:

36 – 50 Caution. Moderate Risk Potential. Measured exposure.
